Council is seeking expressions of interest (EOIs) from individuals, groups and organisations interested in using the Batemans Bay Community Centre. Open day: Wednesday 12 August 2026, 10am to 1pm Council is holding an open day prior to reopening for community members to visit and look at the rooms and spaces. Background On 26 May 2026 Council resolved to support the reopening of Batemans Bay Community Centre for community use, pending a further report to Council detailing responses to eight (8) issue areas, covering maintenance, operation, community demand and operating model. This Expression of Interest (EOI) is focused on two of the issue areas, specifically: Potential lease, licence or shared use models, and Demonstrated community demand and stakeholder consultation. Important information All EOI submissions will be collated and provided to Council as a confidential summary to assist with future decision-making. This EOI is for consultation and information-gathering purposes only. Submitting an EOI does not constitute a booking, lease, licence or allocation of space. Council is not accepting bookings at this stage.
