Overview Northern Beaches Council is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from artists and artist teams for a public artwork commission for the new Warringah Recreation Centre. Scope The scope includes: Designing an artwork for the western wall of the new squash court building, along the Centre's primary pedestrian pathway Creating an artwork that is original and responds to the site and one of the key themes identified in the RFQ Artist Brief Ensuring the artwork is technically feasible Ensuring the artwork complies with Council's risk management, safety and construction standards, maintenance and public safety requirements, and has a lifespan of 25 years Undertaking detailed design, fabrication and installation of the artwork Being available for consultation during site preparation, if necessary Council will undertake site preparation and connection to electrical services, if required.
