Overview AlburyCity is seeking Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified persons or organisations for the long-term lease of the heritage listed Turks Head Building, located on the premier gateway into Albury. About The Turks Head Building is adjacent to the Murray River, Oddies Creek Play Space, Australia Park and the new 65-space car park. It fronts Wodonga Place, the main thoroughfare linking Albury and Wodonga, and offers an opportunity to activate the building as a centrepiece of the social, cultural and economic future of the Riverside Precinct for visitors and local residents. Council has developed Murray River Experience concept plans, which contain upgrades to enhance the nearby Oddies Creek waterway into a focal wetland environment.
