About this tender

Overview The Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources (DISR) is seeking a supplier to provide access to a fit-for-purpose herbicide supply chain dataset. The dataset will support analysis of agricultural chemical supply chain risks, trade dependencies and market concentration. Scope The dataset is to include, as a minimum: Herbicide product categories Active ingredient-level classifications, where available Country-level import and export data Trade values and volumes at product level, and ideally at active ingredient level Source and destination markets Time-series data to support trend analysis Supporting metadata, including product definitions, classification methodology, data sources, update frequency, coverage and data limitations Access through suitable delivery mechanisms, such as data extracts, direct platform access, API, cloud-based delivery or other supplier supported formats Where available, the department would also value Firm-level or supplier-level information, including relevant manufacturers, production capacity, exporters, importers or suppliers Broader pesticide data, including insecticides, fungicides or other agricultural chemicals Enquiries Contact Officer Email: ICG-ICSC-OSCR-EconomicStrategicAssessments@industry.gov.au
