Panorama Oval – LED Sportsfield Lighting Upgrade

Overview Shellharbour City Council invites submissions to upgrade the sportsfield lighting at Panorama Oval, Oak Flats. Scope The scope includes: Investigation, design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning and certification of a complete LED sportsfield lighting system Installation of four new steel lighting poles Removal and disposal of two existing poles on the eastern side of the oval Use of 20 salvaged lights (900W Jaguar Series) provided by Council from a previous project Delivery of a maintainable, energy-efficient and safe lighting system capable of operating in two selectable modes: 50 lux for training and 100 lux for competition Design that minimises obtrusive light, light spill and artificial sky glow, responding to the site's lakeside environment, existing trees, underground services, community use and adjoining sensitive receptors Contractor Requirements Comply with Council's supplied Aboriginal heritage assessment, approved disturbance footprint and all stated conditions Implement an unexpected finds procedure and stop work where required, notwithstanding Council's completed Aboriginal heritage investigations Instructions to Tenderers There is no cost for electronic download of the tender documents. Tenders can be submitted in one of the following ways: Electronically through Council's e-tendering portal in PDF or Microsoft WORD format In hard copy in the Tender box located at Council's Administration Centre, Customer Service, 76 Cygnet Avenue, Shellharbour City Centre By facsimile to Council's Records and Document Management Department on 02 4221 6016, although this method is discouraged Council will not accept emailed tender submissions. All files must be uploaded to the Electronic Tenders Box prior to the closing time. The ETB closes automatically at the stated closing time, and file transfers still in progress at the exact closing time will not be accepted and no automatic "successful submission" notice will be received. Tenderers are advised not to leave submission to the last minute and, as a guide, should begin file transfer at least one hour prior to closing time.
