Scope Reactive works include responding to work orders to diagnose faults, performing make-safe actions. completing all necessary repairs, complying with approval and cost controls, updating FMWeb at each stage, providing all required documentation, managing WHS risks, and restoring assets to safe, functional condition. Under the Facilities Maintenance Contract, Local Contractors are intended to provide responsive, community-based maintenance services to schools within their local area. To support timely attendance, local knowledge and reduced travel costs, priority will be given to contractors whose principal business location is within 50km of the school requiring the service. School Infrastructure may, at its discretion, engage contractors located outside this area where suitable local capacity, capability or coverage is not available.
