Overview HealthShare NSW is seeking a Service Provider to establish a formal contract for the provision of security services at Bourke and Walgett Multi-Purpose Services. Objectives Establish a formal contract for the provision of security services at Bourke and Walgett Multi-Purpose Services Ensure continuity of security coverage and appropriate security support Procure a service that delivers consistent, reliable and responsive incident management, including Code Black and duress response Ensure the service is compliant with NSW Health policy, legislative and regulatory requirements Support the provision of safe clinical environments through effective security presence and staff safety measures Enable a scalable and flexible service model aligned to operational demand and risk profile Scope The scope includes: Provision of security services at Bourke Multi-Purpose Services, 26 Tarcoon Street, Bourke NSW 2840 Provision of security services at Walgett Multi-Purpose Health Service, 141 Fox Street, Walgett NSW 2832 Potential expansion of the services to other sites, subject to agreement with the Service Provider Regular surveillance of staff accommodation units and their surrounds Supporting staff walking to and from the main building and staff accommodation units Participation in lockup procedures Response to Code Black alarms Assisting clinical staff with security issues as required Visitation management Regular surveillance and patrols of the perimeter and buildings Prevention of unauthorised access to restricted areas Escort duties within the site Completion of personal and site log books Contractor Requirements The Service Provider must be able to increase security presence if required Enquiries Jessica Deitz jessica.deitz@health.nsw.gov.au 02 8424 9467
