About this tender

This Tender is invited by the Issuer. AUSTRAC is seeking responses from suitably experienced vendors to support the next stage of its Enterprise Service Management (ESM) program using the ServiceNow Protected Platform Australia. This RFQ is focused on the future-state work required for Target State 2 and builds on the foundational capabilities delivered under Target State 1. The intent of this engagement is to support the design, configuration and implementation of HR Service Delivery and related personnel security capabilities, using ServiceNow where appropriate. AUSTRAC is seeking an approach that supports uplifted, standardised and integrated service delivery, rather than a direct replication of current manual or fragmented practices. Attached Annex provides the detailed background, current-state context and target capability information relevant to this RFQ. It is expected vendors will use the Annex as a supporting reference when preparing their responses and should focus on how they would deliver the future-state outcomes sought by AUSTRAC. For optional inclusions noted in attached Annex, please provide indicative pricing in a separate line item. AUSTRAC may invite preferred suppliers to participate in an interview/presentation session to discuss their response. These sessions may be used to inform AUSTRAC’s evaluation of the supplier’s response. AUSTRAC is seeking proposals running a concurrent work package for an uplift to the ITSM capabilities, focussed on CMDB and Asset Management capability implementation. How to respond to this tender

A strong tender response is clear, compliant, and backed by evidence. These steps apply to most Australian and New Zealand public tenders.

Read the requirements in full

Open the official listing and download the full tender pack. Note the response schedules, evaluation criteria, mandatory conditions, and the exact closing time and lodgement method.

Confirm you are eligible and it is worth bidding

Check licences, insurances, certifications, and any conformance requirements before you commit. A quick bid or no-bid decision saves days of wasted effort on a tender you cannot win.

Answer every criterion with evidence

Respond to each evaluation criterion directly and back your claims with concrete examples, referees, and past performance. Address the buyer’s stated need, not a generic capability statement.

Lodge early through the official portal

Submit through the source portal well before the deadline. Late or incorrectly lodged bids are almost always rejected, so leave time for uploads, portal errors, and last-minute questions.
