Overview The Board of Trustees for Hiwinui School is seeking a suitably qualified Main Fencing/Building Contractor to carry out the LSM Fencing & Gates Project. Scope The scope includes: Removal of existing fencing and vegetation Installation of new 1800mm high powder-coated aluminium boundary fencing Installation of associated pedestrian, vehicle, and accessible gates Installation of timber fencing to part of the private driveway and Melford Lane boundary Construction of concrete retaining walls and mowing strips where required Installation of subsoil drainage on the school side Installation of open swales on road or driveway boundaries for stormwater management Minor landscaping and reinstatement works Construction of a secure bore enclosure Construction of new raised garden beds Site Inspection Contractors must visit the site for their tender to be compliant. The School Office should be contacted to arrange a site visit. Refer to the invite letter attached. Contract Terms and Conditions The commencement of works is dependent on Ministry of Education funding approval. Ideally, work would start as soon as possible after confirmation is provided, however this will be discussed with the successful contractor and the school once funding approval is confirmed.
