Overview The Department of Conservation (NZ) is seeking a supplier to undertake back country ground control predator trapping operations within the Moehau Ecological Area, Public Conservation Land. Scope The scope includes: Servicing of 394 traps established across 7 trap lines by the Director-General Trap servicing to be carried out during the first two weeks of every calendar month, in accordance with clause 1.3 of the draft contract Predator control between aerial baiting operations Bait supply and preparation, in accordance with clause 2.3 of the draft contract Objectives Key success indicators will be based on the execution of the agreed contract between the Director-General and the Contractor, including but not limited to: All 394 traps serviced in accordance with contract requirements Trap servicing completed within the first two weeks of each calendar month Accurate and timely monthly reporting provided No significant health and safety incidents Positive working relationships maintained with iwi partners, landowners and DOC staff Predator control targets achieved and maintained throughout the contract term Enquiries Contact: DOC Procurement Team, tenders@doc.govt.nz.
