About this tender
Overview The University of Waikato is seeking suitably qualified supplier(s) to provide Simulated Participant services for Te Wānanga Waiora, Division of Health. These services will support clinical education, simulation activities, teaching, and Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs) across the University's health professional programmes, including Nursing, Midwifery, Pharmacy, and the upcoming Medicine programme. Purpose The University intends to establish a panel of one or more suitably qualified suppliers. A panel arrangement will provide flexibility, service continuity, increased participant diversity, and scalable capacity, while enabling the University to engage the supplier best suited to each activity, simulation, or OSCE. Scope The scope includes: Provision of Simulated Participant services for clinical education, simulation activities, teaching, and OSCEs Portrayal of patients, whānau or family members, carers, healthcare professionals, and other roles required in realistic clinical scenarios Recruiting, screening, briefing, scheduling, managing, and supporting participants so they are prepared and available when required Contractor Requirements Suitably qualified supplier(s) able to provide Simulated Participant services Access to a reliable, professional, and diverse pool of trained Simulated Participants who can consistently and accurately portray the required roles Enquiries Contact: Procurement, procurement@waikato.ac.nz
