Overview The Ministry of Education (NZ) is seeking registrations of interest from main building and roofing contractors for multiple 10 Year Property Plan (10YPP) projects at Bay of Islands College. Scope The scope includes: Block F, Internal and External Replacements: refurbishment of the caretaker's office and associated spaces, upgrades to the school's science teaching facilities including the fit-out of Block B6 as a new science laboratory, and improvements to the administration building entrance to enhance safety and accessibility Block AA, External and Bathroom Replacements: replacement of the existing external cladding and refurbishment of the student bathroom, incorporating replacement of internal finishes, fixtures, and fittings Blocks Z, F and AA, Roofing Works: roofing works across Blocks Z, F and AA, including the replacement of roofing where required, replacement of existing box gutters with external bracket-mounted gutters, and remediation of roof flashings Blocks V and U, Internal and External Remediation: replacement of deteriorated timber cladding, existing window and door joinery with new commercial-grade aluminium joinery, internal wall linings and floor coverings, and upgrades to internal walls, ceilings, kitchen and bathroom areas, together with roofing remediation works to improve the overall condition, durability, and performance of the buildings
