Overview New Zealand Police is seeking proposals for the supply, servicing and maintenance of its RPAS (Remotely Piloted Aircraft System) fleet. About The RPAS fleet is a critical operational capability supporting frontline policing, tactical operations, search and rescue, crime scene management, intelligence gathering, and public safety activities nationwide. Purpose Police is seeking a long-term partner to provide reliable RPAS solutions and maintenance services that will support operational requirements over the next 5 to 6 years and beyond. Scope The scope includes: Supply of a range of enterprise-grade RPAS suitable for law enforcement operations Manufacturer-authorised servicing, repair and maintenance services Reliable access to parts, technical support and replacement equipment Solutions that support operational requirements such as thermal imaging, mapping, live streaming, situational awareness and intelligence gathering Contractor Requirements Strong local support capability within New Zealand or Australia A collaborative partnership focused on reliability, innovation, performance and whole-of-life value Respondents must meet the mandatory preconditions noted in the RFP Instructions to Respondents Documentation can be obtained via email at tenders.national@police.govt.nz.
