Overview New Plymouth District Council (NPDC) is seeking a suitably experienced and competent construction contractor to deliver the Tūparikino Active Community Hub Civil Package 2. Scope The scope includes: Delivery of civil works forming part of the Tūparikino programme, Civil Package 2 Completion of the required civil works during the 2026/27 summer period Contractor Requirements Demonstrated strong capability to coordinate effectively with concurrent and adjacent activities A proposed methodology that ensures safe and continuous access at all times Ability to minimise disruption to the ongoing vertical construction of the indoor arena (currently being delivered by Clelands) Ability to minimise disruption to the operations of TSB Stadium, NP Raceway, Pukekura Park, and surrounding properties Ability to deliver within a constrained, high traffic, and operationally sensitive environment while maintaining programme, safety, and quality outcomes Tender Briefing and Site Inspection Any main contractor intending to submit a proposal must attend the mandatory Respondent Site Visit.
