Overview KiwiRail Group is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) on behalf of a group of customers, inviting external organisations to submit proposals to supply electricity to nominated sites via a Virtual Power Purchasing Agreement (VPPA) with sleeving and firming, ideally via a new renewable electricity generation project. About In this RFP, the Customers are: KiwiRail Holdings Limited ("KiwiRail") Auckland Transport ("AT") Greater Wellington Regional Council | Metlink ("GW | Metlink") These entities are collectively known as the "Customer". Scope The scope includes: Supply of electricity to the Customer's nominated sites via a Virtual Power Purchasing Agreement (VPPA) with sleeving and firming Ideally, supply via a new renewable electricity generation project Provision of the goods/services for the term of any contract awarded following the RFP The current electricity load for any VPPA is 98.2 GWh.
