DFSDSCS180 - Training Package for Suicide Risk in Domestic and Family Violence To procure a supplier to develop a tailored, whole-of-system training package to support government agencies and non-government services to identify and respond to suicide risk when supporting people impacted by domestic and family violence (DFV). The Department of Families, Seniors, Disability Services and Child Safety (the Department) is revising the Framework to strengthen and enhance its use. This presents an opportunity to increase understanding of the intersection between suicide and DFV, and guide practitioners to confidently identify and respond to people experiencing suicide risk in DFV. Effective responses to suicide risk and DFV require cross-agency coordination across multiple services including health, justice, education, housing, and child protection. Given the intersection between DFV and suicide risk, the Framework acknowledges practitioners working with people impacted by DFV have a role to play in responding to suicide risk. The Department is seeking to engage a supplier to develop and deliver a training package to support government agencies and non-government services. The development of a tailored suicide risk and response training package will support the implementation of the revised Framework across the service system and help to build workforce capability for practitioners to better respond to people impacted by DFV who are at suicide risk.
A strong tender response is clear, compliant, and backed by evidence. These steps apply to most Australian and New Zealand public tenders.
Open the official listing and download the full tender pack. Note the response schedules, evaluation criteria, mandatory conditions, and the exact closing time and lodgement method.
Check licences, insurances, certifications, and any conformance requirements before you commit. A quick bid or no-bid decision saves days of wasted effort on a tender you cannot win.
Respond to each evaluation criterion directly and back your claims with concrete examples, referees, and past performance. Address the buyer’s stated need, not a generic capability statement.
Submit through the source portal well before the deadline. Late or incorrectly lodged bids are almost always rejected, so leave time for uploads, portal errors, and last-minute questions.
