About this tender
Overview Barcaldine Regional Council (BRC) is inviting tenders from suitably qualified tenderers for restoration works under the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) program, for the Aramac Package 7 works. Scope The scope of work for the Contractor is to be completed in accordance with the drawings and specifications included in the Contract, and includes: Establishment, insurances, and security Liaising with the Superintendent, Principal, and any other relevant authorities as required to undertake the work, including advising the Superintendent at least one week prior to commencing works on site so that works can be marked out with location pegs, advising the Superintendent within 72 hours of completing sections so that works can be inspected and certified complete, providing weekly email communications detailing what was completed during the week, and following up any phone call or text message with an email detailing what was discussed Liaising with and providing notices to the public and residents, if required Preparation and implementation of the management plans required by the Contract Supply, installation, maintenance and cleaning of site accommodation, sanitation, and other ancillary facilities, if applicable Locating any existing services in the proposed work area which may impede the work negatively Provision of all materials, plant and labour, and performance of all operations of whatever kind necessary for the complete and proper construction of the works Design (including certification where required), construction and removal of all temporary works required to complete the works, including falsework, scaffolding, access, and security fencing Supply and delivery of all gravel to Type 4 WQ35 Alt 2 specification required to deliver works under the contract Nomination of the gravel source location and the location from which it will be carted Provision of appropriate Environmental Authority information for the gravel source Completion of DRFA restoration works in the nominated areas (see Appendix A) in accordance with the specified methodology Testing of materials and equipment, as and when required by the Superintendent Reinstatement and restoration work, as required Site clean-up and disestablishment Any other work that may be required so that the completed works function as intended and comply with the requirements of the Contract Submission and implementation of a Workplace Health and Safety Plan Development of Safe Work Method Statements as required Development of all other relevant safety system documentation as required by the Work Health and Safety Act and Regulations Submission of a Traffic Management Plan (TMP) Maintenance of all haul roads to a medium formation grade after completion
