About this tender
Overview The Department of Primary Industries and Regions (SA), via PIRSA/SARDI, requires specialist naval design and engineering support to progress its replacement coastal research vessel project. Purpose The procurement objective is to engage a suitably qualified Naval Design Consultant to provide the design documentation and engineering services required to support delivery of the replacement vessel. Scope The scope includes: Progressing the vessel project from the existing concept design through the next stage of design development Supporting development of construction tender documentation Providing ongoing design input, review and oversight throughout the design and construction phases Tender Briefing An industry briefing session will be held for this opportunity: PAR23677-1 - Naval Design Consultant. Date and Time: 2:00 pm, 20 August 2026 Format: Virtual briefing (Microsoft Teams) Registration and invitation are subject to submission of a signed Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).
