Overview Adelaide Primary Health Network (Adelaide PHN) is seeking to commission a capable and experienced organisation to work collaboratively with Adelaide PHN and local stakeholders to establish and operate the Onkaparinga Medicare Mental Health Centre (OMMHC), delivering free mental health, social and emotional wellbeing support across southern metropolitan Adelaide. Scope The scope includes: Establishing and operating a free, welcoming walk-in service for people experiencing mental health concerns, stress, distress or emotional challenges, with no referral or appointment required Provision of assessment services Provision of brief intervention Provision of peer support Care navigation Referrals to ongoing mental health and community services Eligibility Open to private not-for-profit or private for-profit organisations Independent or joint tenders (consortium, partnership or joint venture) from eligible organisations are welcomed Not open to public sector agencies Contractor Requirements The successful applicant must have the capacity and capability to establish and deliver the OMMHC. This may include organisations with experience in: Community mental health service delivery, or Medicare Mental Health Centres, or multidisciplinary walk-in services, or psychosocial support programs Service integration and care coordination Workforce development and clinical governance Partnership and stakeholder engagement Contract Terms and Conditions The successful applicant will have a 6-month period from contract execution (approximately mid December 2026 to 30 June 2027) to establish the service, including undertaking community co-design Delivery of the MMHC program will then run for two years, from 1 July 2027 to 30 June 2029
