Overview The Mallee Catchment Management Authority (CMA) is seeking suitably qualified consultant(s) to undertake field investigations into the hydrogeological processes operating beneath irrigated landscapes and adjacent floodplains. Purpose This work will examine how irrigation influences underlying groundwater systems and provide the information needed to support groundwater modelling that assesses salinity impacts. Objectives The project aims to build a clear understanding of irrigation driven groundwater processes and develop practical options for managing both irrigation and groundwater to support long term sustainable water use.
