Overview Alpine Shire Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the construction of a new shared path link along Damms Road in Mount Beauty, from the Kiewa River East branch to Embankment Drive via Nelse Street. About The new footpath will provide a much-needed safe passage, separate from the carriageway, for pedestrian and cyclist traffic along Damms Road as well as Nelse Street, linking into the Mount Beauty Pondage Walk on Embankment Drive. Scope The scope includes: Site establishment Provision for traffic and environmental management Modifications to existing drainage headwalls, pipes and table drains to allow for new path Vegetation trimming and removal Installation of kerb and channel Installation of driveway crossovers Base preparation and asphalt path construction Base preparation and sealing for 11 driveways Installation of raised pedestrian crossing Street signage Line marking General reinstatement works
