Overview Webuild, operating as WA Life, is delivering the design and construction of the New Women and Babies Hospital Project (NWBHP) in Perth for the Western Australian Government. As Managing Contractor, WA Life is responsible for the design and engineering, procurement, construction and handover of the health care facilities. Webuild is seeking a subcontractor to undertake the Kitchen Major and Associated Works for this project. About The landmark NWBHP aims to replace the century-old King Edward Memorial Hospital and expand services and choice for women, newborns and families in Western Australia. The Women and Babies Hospital (WBH) will be built within the Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) precinct in the southern suburb of Murdoch. The project also includes a major expansion of Osborne Park Hospital (OPH), located in the northern suburb of Stirling. The WBH health facility will essentially be a greenfield site containing a new 78,000sqm state-of-the-art hospital and operating campus. The OPH health facility will be a brownfield site within the existing OPH precinct, involving the demolition and expansion of the existing and operational (non-teaching) hospital with complex interfaces. Scope The scope includes: Supply and installation of the Major Kitchens for the WBH and OPH Hospitals Supply and installation of all General Hospital Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment (FF&E) associated with the kitchen works Kitchen infrastructure, catering equipment, cool rooms and freezer rooms White goods, fittings, fitments and miscellaneous items associated with the kitchen works Coordination with other building trades Contractor Requirements HSE Requirements Compliance with all regulations and procedures relating to Health and Safety and Environment requirements laid down by Statutory Authorities, the Contractor and the Subcontractor's own Safety Manual Maintenance of the highest regard for the health and safety of own personnel and the environment, ensuring activities do not endanger the safety of personnel and local communities All reasonable precautions taken for the protection of workers, members of the public and property that might be affected by the Subcontractor's work or services Relevant Work Experience Provision of a list of projects demonstrating proven experience within the last 5 years, including project name and year, for completed projects meeting the stated criteria Enquiries Contact: Joelle Lim Phone: +61 08 9365 7623
