Expression of Interest - South Lismore Industrial Subdivision

Open for submissionsSubmission deadline: 08 November 2026

About this tender

Overview Lismore City Council is inviting Expressions of Interest from businesses, investors and developers interested in securing land within a proposed new industrial precinct at 97 Caniaba Street, South Lismore. About Council is exploring the subdivision of the site to create a range of new industrial lots, providing opportunities for businesses looking to establish, expand or invest in Lismore. The current concept provides for approximately 21 lots, with the final subdivision layout and lot sizes to be informed in part by market interest received through this EOI process. Purpose This is an early opportunity for Council to understand business needs and start a conversation with interested parties before the lots are brought to market. This Expression of Interest is for market-testing and planning purposes only. Information Requested Respondents are encouraged to submit an Expression of Interest outlining their business needs. Early responses are particularly encouraged and will allow Council's Economic Development team to begin conversations with interested businesses as planning for the precinct progresses. Instructions to Respondents Respondents are invited to register their interest and tell Council what their business needs. A site prospectus is available to download for further information. Submission of an EOI does not create any commitment or guarantee regarding the sale, lease, subdivision or availability of land. Information provided through the EOI process will be treated confidentially.

How to respond to this tender

A strong tender response is clear, compliant, and backed by evidence. These steps apply to most Australian and New Zealand public tenders.

Read the requirements in full

Open the official listing and download the full tender pack. Note the response schedules, evaluation criteria, mandatory conditions, and the exact closing time and lodgement method.

Confirm you are eligible and it is worth bidding

Check licences, insurances, certifications, and any conformance requirements before you commit. A quick bid or no-bid decision saves days of wasted effort on a tender you cannot win.

Answer every criterion with evidence

Respond to each evaluation criterion directly and back your claims with concrete examples, referees, and past performance. Address the buyer’s stated need, not a generic capability statement.

Lodge early through the official portal

Submit through the source portal well before the deadline. Late or incorrectly lodged bids are almost always rejected, so leave time for uploads, portal errors, and last-minute questions.
