Overview Christchurch City Council is inviting Tenderers to submit Tenders for the emptying and cleaning of Digester No. 1 at the Christchurch Wastewater Treatment Plant (CWTP). Purpose The purpose of this RFT is to invite Tenderers to submit their Tenders for the emptying and cleaning of Digester No. 1 at CWTP. Objectives The objective of this RFT process is to obtain sufficiently detailed information from Tenderers about their respective organisations and their ability to provide the Works. This enables the Council to select and appoint a Contractor to provide the Works. Scope The scope includes, but is not limited to: Emptying and internal cleaning of Digester No. 1 at the Christchurch Wastewater Treatment Plant (CWTP) Removal of all solid biomass, sand and other insoluble permanent material deposited within the digester since it was last cleaned in 2012, to enable condition assessments to be performed Internal condition assessments to be carried out on Digester No. 1 once emptied and cleaned are excluded from the scope of this contract.
