RFI for Underutilised Energy Technologies
Tender Overview
About this tender
Overview The Energy Efficiency & Conservation Authority (EECA) has issued this Request for Information (RFI) to seek market information on the deployment potential of underutilised efficient process heating and renewable energy technologies for commercial and industrial businesses. This is not a procurement or an opportunity to request co-investment from EECA. Purpose The information provided will help EECA build a view of current market thinking, opportunities and developing technologies, and their potential to help support New Zealand businesses to improve their energy efficiency and have access to reliable and affordable process heat. Information Requested EECA would like to hear from respondents such as site owners, consultants and equipment suppliers with information about applicable technologies and solutions that are technically feasible but may be underutilised in New Zealand. This may include relevant insights and information from feasibility studies or other development work that respondents may have carried out. How to Apply Further information is available on the RFI page: Underutilised Energy Technologies RFI Responses can be submitted using the application form: Application form Enquiries Contact: Hera Jawed Phone: 044702235
How to respond to this tender
A strong tender response is clear, compliant, and backed by evidence. These steps apply to most Australian and New Zealand public tenders.
Read the requirements in full
Open the official listing and download the full tender pack. Note the response schedules, evaluation criteria, mandatory conditions, and the exact closing time and lodgement method.
Confirm you are eligible and it is worth bidding
Check licences, insurances, certifications, and any conformance requirements before you commit. A quick bid or no-bid decision saves days of wasted effort on a tender you cannot win.
Answer every criterion with evidence
Respond to each evaluation criterion directly and back your claims with concrete examples, referees, and past performance. Address the buyer’s stated need, not a generic capability statement.
Lodge early through the official portal
Submit through the source portal well before the deadline. Late or incorrectly lodged bids are almost always rejected, so leave time for uploads, portal errors, and last-minute questions.
