Overview Banana Shire Council invites suitably qualified tenderers for the construction of electricity distribution to multiple sites from a recently installed Ergon Transformer at Council's Rainbow Street Community Facilities. Scope The Contractor shall provide all of the following necessary to complete the electrical service upgrade for the Rainbow Street Precinct (Biloela): Labour Plant Materials Supervision Design coordination Approvals Testing Commissioning Incidental items The scope includes: Underground surveying and documentation of the Rainbow Street Sports and Community Area Installation of a new consolidated electrical service connection to the recently installed transformer Supply and installation of a distribution board with individual metering points, to replace the existing individual Ergon metered services servicing the Civic Centre and Caretaker's Cottage, Community Resource Centre, and Tennis Club (two tennis courts located within the same allotment) Detailed site inspections, investigation, surveying and documentation of all existing electrical infrastructure and underground services Preparation of as-constructed documentation Liaison and coordination with Council, Ergon Energy, metering providers and other stakeholders Demolition and removal of superseded electrical infrastructure Supply and installation of new electrical systems, switchboards, meter panels, sub mains, conduits, pits, poles and associated infrastructure Testing, commissioning and energisation of all new systems Training and handover to Council representatives Provision of operation manuals, warranties and maintenance documentation Contractor Requirements All works shall be completed in accordance with the latest relevant Australian Standards, Ergon Energy requirements, State legislation, Workplace Health and Safety requirements, and all applicable codes and regulations. Contract Terms and Conditions Works are to be completed within 90 Business Days of the awarding of the contract
