Supply of Railway Track Materials

Overview Queensland Rail Limited is seeking a supplier for the design, manufacture, supply, documentation, testing evidence, packaging, delivery and support of railway track materials, specifically rail fastenings and associated goods. Scope The scope includes: Design, manufacture, supply, documentation, testing evidence, packaging, delivery and support of rail fastenings and associated goods identified in the contract material list, as amended from time to time in accordance with the contract Supply of any 'Other Goods' added under the relevant special condition Provision of rail fastenings adequately designed for all sleeper types used by Queensland Rail, including low profile concrete sleepers, full depth concrete sleepers, turnout concrete bearers, timber sleepers and timber or composite transoms Supply of rail foot insulators, rail pads, resilient clips, base plate assemblies, screw spikes, associated components, accessories, consumables and replacement items required to provide a complete and fit-for-purpose rail fastening system Contractor Requirements Conformance with the Scope of Work does not constitute product approval Any new, modified or alternative fastening product, manufacturing process or design may be required to undergo Queensland Rail's type approval process and must not be supplied for operational use unless approved by Queensland Rail Type approval, where required, will be undertaken at Queensland Rail's discretion in accordance with Specification MD-16-448 Enquiries Contact: Michelle Mcdonald, Senior Category Specialist Email: michelle.mcdonald@qr.com.au
